Random Generator
About This Site
A privacy-first collection of random generators built for fair picks, clear explanations, and fast results.
Updated November 4, 2026
This site exists to make random choices simple, transparent, and fast. It brings together the generators people reach for most often — numbers, letters, symbols, passwords, names, lists, teams, dice, coins, and wheels — in one lightweight place.
What we believe
Randomness is useful only when people trust the process. That means a secure random source, a clear interface, and no hidden data collection. The generators run in your browser, and the pages explain how the results are produced.
We also believe that a tool should not require an account, a newsletter signup, or a dozen clicks before it works. Open a page, set the options, and get a result.
How the tools work
The tools use crypto.getRandomValues(), the browser's cryptographically secure random number generator. For integer ranges, the code uses rejection sampling to avoid modulo bias. Shuffles use the Fisher–Yates algorithm with secure random indices. The wheel picks its winner before the animation begins.
The site uses plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Pages are served as static assets from Cloudflare's edge network, with a small Worker for the public JSON API. No user inputs are sent to the API unless you call it yourself.
Languages and research
The interface is available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, German, French, Italian, and Japanese. The language set and the tool selection were shaped by search-demand research, including Google Trends and related-query data. We prioritize useful tools over endless variants.
Editorial approach
Guides are written to answer practical questions: how entropy works, how to run a fair giveaway, how dice notation changes probabilities, and how to split teams without bias. We update articles when the underlying tools or recommendations change.
The content is educational. It is not legal, medical, financial, or security certification advice. For high-stakes decisions, consult a qualified professional.
Privacy
We do not require accounts and do not collect the content of your draws. The site stores only interface preferences in your browser. Advertising, when enabled, is handled by Google AdSense with a consent interface where required. Read the privacy policy for details.
